Coldwell Complex Location Map

The Coldwell Complex is the largest alkaline complex in North America (580 sq. km) and is located on the North Shore of Lake Superior in northwestern Ontario, Canada. The property has excellent access to infrastructure with a major highway, port and the town of Marathon within kilometers of the project. The property features 12 known occurrences of Niobium, Zirconium, Yttrium, and rare earth elements. The property presently consists of 99 staked claim units totaling 1603 hectares.

In June 2011, a 1,000 line km airborne magnetic and radiometric survey was completed on the property. A follow up to airborne resulted in new prospect samples with values ranging from 0.03% to 3.97% TREO with HREO/TREO ratios ranging from 9% to 54%. Niobium values were also highly prospective with values ranging from 0.02% Nb2O5 to 1.29% Nb2O5. These new discoveries confirm that the Coldwell Complex hosts REE mineralization with a significant Heavy REE component and the zones tend to be associated with radiometric anomalies, which in some cases are several kilometers in size. Follow up prospecting, trenching and sampling is planned to further evaluate these occurrences.
