Canada Rare Earth Appoints Leader of South American Operations

Canada Rare Earth Corp. (“Canada Rare Earth” or the “Company”) (TSX.V: LL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Goodman to head up our South American business initiatives and operations.

Chris joined Canada Rare Earth as an independent director in March 2016. From January 2017 until present he has managed part of Noble Group’s asset portfolio as well as being co-head of Talaxis Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Noble Group), investing in and developing projects related to technology metals, with a special focus on rare earths.

Tracy A. Moore, CEO of Canada Rare Earth noted, “We welcome Chris as he transitions from Talaxis to working full-time heading up Canada Rare Earth’s South American operations. With his prior experience of establishing and managing international, complex commodity sourcing and trading projects with Noble Group, Trafigura and Mercuria Chris is perfectly suited to bringing together our multiple sourcing and value-add processing initiatives.”
