Thunder Bay, ON – Rare Earth Metals Inc. (“Rare Earth Metals”, “RA” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: RA; OTCQX: RAREF, PINK SHEETS: RAREF) has filed for approval with the TSX-Venture Exchange (the “Exchange”) to extend the exercise period to November 2012 for 2,007,724 warrants. These warrants were issued pursuant to the $1.8 million Private Placement that closed in November 2010 (see Press Releases dated October 27, 2010 and November 1, 10 & 22, 2010). All other terms and conditions of the warrants remain the same. The Board has approved the warrant extension.
